Pause, be still, notice.

The hustle and bustle of life keeps us distracted and on auto pilot. The days slip by and the routines are filled with the basics. Drive to work, work, pick up kids, catch up on errands, pick up groceries, cook, social obligations, clean, sleep, repeat. I urge you, find those moments to step outside and take a 10 minute walk, put up a bird feeder, sit on the next bench you see. Make the time to pause, be still, and notice what lives around you. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Documenting the Natural World

A hot coffee and a drive, a morning bike ride, a hike in the woods, beachcombing, and stargazing, are just a few of my favourite ways to pass the time outside of the studio. Of course my camera is always in hand on every adventure. A portion of all print sales will be donated to some of my favourite habitat restoration projects.
